Any news/update on 50Mbps @ rm99?

Hi all.... I am on VDSL2 and gladly to inform that my line now supports 100Mbps.



Previously, my VDSL2 only supports about 50Mbps++ (see screenshot below) .. maybe TM did some upgrade at the cabinet outside my apartment.



I was thinking to just switch to Maxis RM89/mth for unlimited 30Mbps, but I guess now I can maintain with Unifi 100Mbps for RM129.

i wonder his VDSL2 is on landed or high rise.
i am concern for VDSL on high rise, will i get at least 100mbps
currently on Unifi Advance 30mbps with unifi TV (old platinum pack), paying RM189/mth incl SST

I just read from theStars Gobind will look into those who are not planned to be upgraded or have price reduced.

I think TM's tactics is not to upgrade those who are still under contract even if they can do it. I am currently staying in condo using vdsl2 and in theory they can go up to 50Mbps, even give us 100Mbps but just not able to reach the speed. ie upgrade from 30Mbps. But now no news. I wonder if others staying in high rise building also under contract in this situation?

In the min I think they should upgrade us from 30 to 50. Shame...

RM129 for 50mbps and won’t be eligible for Turbo? If they really offered you this then I seriously wonder what were they thinking? Aren’t they aware of their current RM129 for 100mbps?

You are absolutely right.

But the flip side is, despite the number of complaints here and on social media, in fact most are fairly okay with what they get from TM. Most of the complaints here are effectively "eh why they pay less than me" and "eh why that guy get turbo I didn't", which are COMPARATIVE complaints rather than actual complaints about the utility being provided (internet access). Basically amounting to 'Not fair!'

It's the right of consumers to raise these complaints, but the number who are actually pissed off isn't too large I think. For example I'm on 139 for 30Mbps, and while I'd like turbo, or reduction in price, especially when compared to new customers who get 129 for 100Mbps, I don't care enough to spend my time and effort to do anything about it. Which directly means that I'm somewhat satisfied, because if I wasn't I would do something.

For comparison, new-to-bank customers get special cashback for credit cards, new-to-service customers on online sites get special vouchers/discounts.

50mbps rm129. will u get turbo-ed to 500mbps? if yes its a good deal i think.....
