QUOTE(GamerKid @ Sep 21 2018, 10:41 AM) Yep, I fight for it though. Managed to make a case, they send it to HQ. Waited 2-3 days patiently and magically upgraded to 800mbps. thx for the information. my contract ended too, will try it later and see how its going.

yesterday go tmpoint in taman desa to change my old 100mbps plan rm270 to newest 100mbps plan. when in counter i request for new eq, that staff told me ok and no charge. today the technician come my house and said the eq warranty is ended, then i need pay rm50 to renew the contract 1years, or buy the dlink router for rm250. they even show me their tablet that showing my eq contract status is in red color and with old contract. just now i give a call to tm 100, that cs told me i dont need to pay anything for the eq. because already renew the contract, but i need to pay on-site service for rm53, if i want change the router. this will be charge in next bill.
story end, now i really confuse. so any1 here request and got new router, do u guys got charged?

QUOTE(SilentVampire @ Oct 11 2018, 12:29 PM) Bullshit though. When you renew your contract to two years, they are supposed to give you new equipment and everything should be free. No one got charged for anything. What is your current router? You don't need their stock router and getting your own is much better. i feel bull shit too, but its tm so you know. actually using my own asus router and the tm router is use for repeater. last time i got tplink ac1200, and i setup it to repeater. but it damn unstable. thats why i thinking to get another 1 to replace it. looks like gonna call tm 100 again.

QUOTE(SilentVampire @ Oct 11 2018, 12:43 PM) You mean the TP-Link AC1200 is very unstable? It is expected. Try updating the firmware. tried, but the wifi still unstable. even tried flash to ddwrt, but 1 of the wifi band cant active. oh well, already give up. too bad time dint coverage landed house. those high rise surround me all in time coverage.
