Want to ask tplink wr 1043nd can get the full speed using wired connection? turboed 500Mbps.

Just got the SMS and Email notification from TM that I'm Turbo'ed speed up to 300Mbps.

This is my current router (quite old but should be having gigabit LAN port?) : TP-Link TL-WR1043ND

My BTU is : Alcatel-Lucent I-240G-P (after finding, this model should be capable of support Gigabit speed)

Check that my Wifi strongest going for 60+mbps which is expected (since my router is kind old, not dual band either), but testing with LAN connection (Cat5e), just managed to achieve 100mbps DL / 50+mbps UL, is changing to a new router would make the difference? Need some advise from you guys, thanks in advance

i downgraded from 800mbps to 100mbps lo..
cuz dont need that much,plus my router only support til 300mbps only..
plus right now i save more money than previous..
Current 100mbps plan+Ultimate hypptv
159+6% sst
Last time Turbo 800mbps+Ruby plus hypptv
219+6% sst

Although I received turbo'ed email , i decide to change the plan to RM129 100mbps, add RM30 to ultimate tv pack, save some cash instead of paying RM200 per month.

Imo for 100mbps + Ultimate pack = RM159 is a good deal for me.

I don't care mine plan is eligible free upgrade to 800mbps because :

1. If fully utilise the upgrade speed (wifi), need to buy a right equipment, hence need extra money

2. Don't know when can get the free upgrade, TM said until end June 2019? I think save some cash at this moment, maybe future TM got another surprise for us lol

Don't forget about SST charges.

Contract end, so downgrade my subscription to 100mbps @ RM129 (previously 199 with hypptv). Requested to change the new router. (They log a case and technician will call you to arrange).

Technician came after 2 days change new Dlink router, then I ask technician with my new contract can I also change my Hypptv STB and Home Cordless Phone. They say YES and change it for me. 

So for those renew contract remember to ask them to change the STB and Phone too !

Then....how about users who haven't got their turbo?

Is TM really expect those un-turbo-ed users to pay same expensive price and wait until June 2019?

I guess I’ll have to report back to them and see what’s going on after Turbo upgrade.

Yes it should be RM299 - RM200 + RM90 (UniFi TV) to make a total of RM189.

So I’ll be paying more monthly unless the base price for 800mbps is RM279 now.

Your billing cycle is coming soon, just wait and see.
