Guys, I’ve recently installed a 100Mbps Unifi, and apparently was charged RM260 for installation.

Technician said he used 30meter of cable for the non-standard wiring on top of house, calculation of the bills is correct but I dont understand how it reach 30 meter? The location I set for the Unifi and outside is quit near (5meter).

TM is doing shady practices?

Recently Unifi at my father place (KL) is down(intentional?) and the only way to fix it is changing the modem, apparently changing the modem will extend/renew the contract so my father instead asked to change to older modem so no new contract (I hope) but the speed somehow become slower (Currently paying RM215/m). >:(

Bro, I already bring my dad to TMpoint asking to downgrade from RM215 to RM129, but TM ppl reject the downgrade to RM129 and can only downgrade to RM159 because apparently some technician once come and change the BBU unit and that extendeds for another 2 year. Weird, because based on what i read in this thread TM allows to downgrade without any penalty and will just renew the contract.
