Mesh is better than using an extender.
Extender will cut the speed into half.
Mesh System like Deco Mesh or AiMesh is a better option than using an extender.

Thanks.

This really depends on how large your home is and the kind of speed / stability you need

May I ask why you do not want to pull a LAN cable? Lol. I mean it will solve your wireless issue.. xD Just asking.

i am thinking of doing the same thing too but it is gonna be a super duper long lan cable as the router is located at the middle of the other house bye.gif bye.gif

since i saw mesh wifi is better than extender, tempting to give it a try bruce.gif bruce.gif bruce.gif

what do you think? rclxm9.gif

Sounds like you have >4,000 sq ft to cover

Best you go for AT LEAST main router + 3 mesh nodes to get best coverage

What's your budget?
M9 Plus will be suitable for your case.

Since you are going to have a gaming equipment.
Best to get ASUS XT8 or ASUS RT-AX92U Dual Pack.

Thanks.

the version that unifi offer is that m9 plus? they mentioned m9 on their website

am thinking of going for unifi since i can add it to my bill and pay monthly instead of paying one time off flex.gif flex.gif flex.gif

asus's one loooks really nice but the price quite steep for me blink.gif blink.gif blink.gif
wish i can afford in the future rclxm9.gif rclxm9.gif

Maybe try connect your Deco M4 directly to the modem and use PPPOE mode.
