you have to understand, mesh does give wide coverage but not maximum speed unless you wired backhaul, so recommended for 2 storey house
if only one floor ax73 easily cover 1100-1200 square feet

Pls don't get the TUF AX5400 if you are looking for better coverage than AX73.
In fact it actually perform much worse in terms of coverage and signal strength. Other than that it is a super fast and super stable.
I come from TPlink AX73 to Asus TUF AX5400 due to AX73 being super unstable and randomly drop connection. Fed up and get TUF AX5400.
Much more stable but signal strength is damn weak especially 5ghz.

Damn disappointed with TUF AX5400 despite having 6 external antenna and a beefy aggresive design, the signal strength is a major let down.
I read a few review all say good wifi signal performance but that is not the case. TpLink AX73 cost half the price with a lot stronger signal and able to cover my entire house 3000sqft with 5ghz
This TUF AX5400 5ghz can't even reach the back room. Even my old RT-AX3000 signal also stronger than this. Very very disappointed.

I managed to claim new unit but sold it. No confident on tplink product anymore. My past ac1200, ac1750 and this AX73 all like to randomly disconnect and reconnect.
Currently using Asus TUF AX5400 for about 14 days now never disconnect or restart once. But the signal strength is a let down though if compare to AX73.
