previously i used asus router to achieve 500mbps for lan.

time gave me the ac1200 and i tested on it, and got barely 100-200mbps on lan. i used the same cable for the ac1200

anything i can do to achieve 500mbps on lan on ac1200?

i reset modem, router, and disable nat booster etc, but speed still at that range on lan cable

Disable NAT boost? That's not the correct part hmm.gif

You should enable NAT boost for higher speeds icon_idea.gif

So an AX WiFi card just got released by TP-Link:

It uses an Intel chipset so could it be an AX200 chip? hmm.gif

I suggest getting the TP-Link C2300 or the Asus RT-AC86U. If you want strong consistent coverage, get the TP-Link Deco M5 or M9 Plus.

The AC86U gets my vote due to the fact it is mesh WiFi capable (via AiMesh) icon_idea.gif

Help pls! I bought RT-AC86U and my Wifi speed still ~200-250mbps, wired I'm able to get 500mbps.

Unifi Home

Sigh, I thought I had a lemon with the DLinks, but Asus also same and a lot more expensive

Did you enable CTF/NAT acceleration? icon_idea.gif

blacktubi I currently own an Asus AX88U, what would be a good model to upgrade to? I have a budget around the same price I paid for my current router, around RM1.6K hmm.gif

Should I consider WiFi 7 instead?

blacktubi Any way to set the Skyworth GN630V into media bridge mode or even repeater mode? I can't seem to find it in the router settings sweat.gif
Looking to repurpose it as a repeater icon_idea.gif
