just disable the smart connect and 2.4Ghz band too, if no old device on your home which did not recognize higher band. just use 5ghz band with protocol n/ac/ax and leave the channel to auto, than you are safe.

Alright ! Seems ASUS TUF-AX3000 been recommended by 2 people, I'll take a look on it. Market price for this is around RM6XX ? See if I can tahan till offer period then 

About the 3-phase power, how do I check it yea ? 

Btw, the difference between TP-LINK PA4010P AV600 &  TP-Link TL-WPA8630P powerline wireless extender KIT recommended by you is one got WiFi while another dont have right ?

Quite an overkill. But since using it, i don't recall any disconnection so far. ..been running smoothly and stable, so I guess it's worth it. Now I get full 300mbps on my Note 20 - even 200+mbps on 5GHz band out in the garden (around 50meters away from the router)

You may consider tplink archer ax73 RM400 for its value for money. Many fellow friends here are also suggesting it, btw I'm using it too in a 1000sqft apartment and so far has been working excellent for me. For asus you may consider tuf ax-3000 or ax-58u, a bit above your budget but sometime you can get it on sale at shopee/lazada around RM550-600.
AX1800 means 574Mbps at 2.4GHz + 1,201Mbps at 5GHz @ 80MHz = ~1800Mbps theoretical speed
AX3000 means 574Mbps at 2.4GHz + 2,402Mbps at 5GHz @ 160MHz = ~3000Mbps theoretical speed
Since you want to future proof yourself with wifi6, just buy wifi6 router and skip any wifi5 router aka ac2400

Is it worth paying additional RM 140 for Asus TUF Gaming AX3000? Or just settle with the normal AX3000? Good enough? I’m not a gamer (I only play Switch lol) but I want good and stable WiFi connection around the house especially for 2.4GHz as a lot of my smart home devices are only able to connect to 2.4GHz. I won’t want to use LAN cable by the way. I intend to keep everything wireless in my small house.

I’m using iPhone 12 Pro Max and Lenovo Carbon X1 if that matters.

I will use the stock firmware anyway, so not an issue for me. However, I have a lot of IoT devices and blacktubi suggested me with 86u instead. Now the question is should I stick to AC86u or AX86u? But the price difference is too significant.
