Hi guys.
I have a few questions that need answer.

1. I have been using unifi modem for ages. I am still using the old black modem given to me. My question would be if I have 300mbps speed, does the modem need an upgrade too? When I said old black modem I really meant it like the modem given to you during the earliest days of unifi introduction in malaysia.

2. This might sound silly but pardon me as i am bad at it tech stuffs. When you connect the LAN cable, do you connect it to the modem or router?

3. What type of lan cable should i look for?

4. Im thinking of upgrading my aged router (asus rtn12d1) to Asus rt ac1300uhp to compliment 300mbps. Is it okay?

5. Would an aged router causes speed throttle and slow and high ping?
