Is it OK to buy Linksys routers here? It seems Linksys is not getting much attention. Worried about long term customer support.

Looking at MR8300.

Yup, but even a cheap PCIE WiFi receiver will perform better than RT-AC68U.

Why would you want to do that?

For me, I'll still suggest the TP Link AX20.

As the rest recommended, go for TP-LINK Archer AX20.

Thanks

Does the USB port support connection to a 4G USB modem or a phone in USB tethering mode?

Please avoid AX50 at all costs. It is being offloaded to get rid of existing stocks. Have poor performance due to overheating and design issue, unless you put a 120mm fan to dissipate the heat away.

what other models are as bad as AX50 and need to be avoided as well?

if i were to add mesh nodes downstream of my router (192.168.1.1), do mesh nodes have DHCP server (therefore creating another subnet such as 192.168.2.1)?

Which is better (stability and wifi coverage)? Asus RT-AC59U v2 or TPLink Archer C80? Both same price (RM199). Planning to buy for my parents house (they mainly use wifi on Unifi 30Mbps plan).

Does the asus support printer connection with its USB port? I don't need the NAS/Samba though. I don't care about the AiMesh too (therefore the USB and mesh should not be the decision criteria).

Does DLink DIR X3000Z support wireless bridge mode? I want it to connect to my main/host TM Unifi router via wireless, then hookup my desktop to the Ethernet LAN port.
