its not a RGx20 series, cos those are H-H guitars. and since all the pickups are mounted in the wood, im guessing its either a RG670 or 770, but since its dot inlays, well too bad. im not a ibanez fan anyway. GIBSON FTW Added on June 1, 2007, 2:37 pmand approximate value? here i say not more than RM2k. This post has been edited by Everdying: Jun 1 2007, 02:37 PM

Err... are you planning on selling the guitar?
Quite a sweet looking guitar... you're probably better off keeping it since I'm sure it'll play very smooth and all...

It depends on the condition of the guitar itself. Cracks, scars, paint coming out and etc will bring down your asking price by the 100s. That's why most ppl will prefer to COD if they're buying a guitar to check on the things I mentioned above. And to remind you, no selling in this forum.

@ryo, you're welcome
from what I observe of guitars sold in US forums, typically, mint condition guitars of your type can sell for USD600. the more blemishes, dings and cracks etc (as thewhacker mentioned) the lower the price will be.

The fretboard can be cleaned, nothing wrong there. The body.. biasa la..battle scars. I suggest you keep it. I think its a good guitar.

Nice guitar IMHO despite the scars. definately a good workhorse. i've considered getting a good cheap second hand as a workhorse coz of the fear of adding any battle scars to my RG.
give it a good cleanup and polish, and the fretboard needs a little work. Also I use Fret Doctor (Bore Oil) on mine every half a year to keep it moisturized. (dont use lemon oil) You definitely need a setup. The intonation looks totally wrong if i'm seeing what i think i'm seeing.

If you want to sell it, do it fast... Or else the longer you keep it, the harder for you to sell it...

QUOTE(unloco @ Jun 7 2007, 04:53 PM) May I know why we shouldn't use Lemon Oil??? Please enlighten me, because I have been using Lemon Oil on my rosewood fretboards. Here's a good read. http://www.beafifer.com/boredoctor.htmDoesn't seem quite bad in this explanation, but discussions at jemsite have also said that it tends to dry out the fretboard over time or smtg along that line because lemon oil is acidic. have to search for that thread. can't remember the details...
