Or should we line up at any machines or switch store on the 26th? I think you can line up on 26 and get it. QUOTE(AKG @ Oct 20 2018, 05:38 PM) Spigen would be a good choice. QUOTE(meltan @ Oct 22 2018, 07:49 PM) Thanks for the input. Searched thru a few on Lazada. Not too sure on the authenticity. I'm looking for the bracelet link band. Can't justify spending on the original one. I've been using Hoco for a very long time. Well built and did not let me down once in these years. Its showing signs of ageing now and thinking to replace it. Wondering if I should get Hoco again or go with something new I've been eying. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « This post has been edited by harmeet15: Oct 22 2018, 11:32 PM |

QUOTE(PHI_1.618 @ Oct 25 2018, 09:41 AM) I feel you bro. I applied acid to my hand to ease the itch and asked my wife to tie them with cable tie so i don't scratch them. Else I could have bought the AW3... That is some high level self control right there. Good thing you managed to wait bro. The wait is worth it. QUOTE(Acethriller @ Oct 25 2018, 12:25 PM) Very subjective bro. The screen upgrade is a very compelling argument. But apart from that, nothing much is worth upgrading from AW3. |

QUOTE(PHI_1.618 @ Oct 26 2018, 09:22 AM) I saw the Apple retailer at Paradigm Mall PJ covered up by black curtain this morning when I walked past them. I think they we are doing the "renovation" of artwork and putting up demo unit. But no one queuing. If you all interested, can try your luck here and see if you can get one on the spot... You not gonna be trying your luck? Not getting one? Others any luck from any outlet? |

QUOTE(sigheart @ Oct 26 2018, 10:53 AM) I just received mine, delivered by Apple my. Delivery before noon, nice. Was sceptical at first that they would be able to deliver by today but looks like they did. So unboxing and setup done? QUOTE(icechiller555 @ Oct 26 2018, 10:56 AM) Went to BSC macstudio today morning cause I thought there would be a long queue. Managed to get 2 watches: Nike space grey 44m with sport loop and the gold 40mm with pink sand sport loop for my wife. Was there at 630 am but only one more person was queuing. [attachmentid=10087287] Nice one bro, Nike watches wont be in stock for long. Surely will get snapped up fast. Lucky you managed to get yours early. |

QUOTE(PHI_1.618 @ Oct 26 2018, 11:26 AM) Nahhh....I am getting the stainless steel from SG. Too bad Malaysia tak jual. No choice buy have to contribute to SG economy. So when you placing your order? QUOTE(sigheart @ Oct 26 2018, 12:26 PM) Yup didn’t expect them to deliver so quick. Apple tends to under promise and over deliver which is the opposite of most other cases. Initially didn’t know what to expect because apple website stated 26/10 but UPS still says 29/10. But out of the blue they appeared and delivered it. Apple’s estimated delivery is even more accurate than the courier doing the delivery themselves.... Haha not yet. Sipping coffee while waiting for it to be fully coated at Mobile Outfitters right now. Show us the coating once it is done later. |

QUOTE(netken @ Oct 26 2018, 04:07 PM) Yes bro. I was from the first version as well. The battery, screen and speed will be noticed right away. Not so much if you coming from s2 or s3 maybe. QUOTE(dino89 @ Oct 26 2018, 04:57 PM) AWS0 correct? Very aptly put. Unless you use the watch only to look at time and not do anything else, then I dunno I started using the watch just to see time as it was taking too long to respond for my liking. But now I’m back using as many apps I can. QUOTE(netken @ Oct 26 2018, 05:02 PM) how much is AWS0 worth now? mine was purchased from Tokyo back then - https://www.biccamera.com.e.lj.hp.transer.c...c/item/3226357/ ... To be honest, you might be better off passing it to a family member. AWS4 attracted me because of the bigger size and new orientation .... Will be hard to put a price on this. Maybe rm500? Or less? |

QUOTE(sigheart @ Oct 30 2018, 03:16 AM) Sharing my experience after 3 days with a fully coated Apple Watch from Mobile Outfitters and my advise is - Coat the front and sides, ceramic back is optional but do not coat the heart rate sensor. I skipped coating the heart rate sensor too. At that time figured its Sapphire and wont need any protection. - All was fine on the first day right after I coated it, but after awhile it felt uncomfortable, the watch stuck to my skin and it was tugging at my bulu lol Thought it was too tight so I loosened it but it was worse wearing it loose, it was rough and it rubbed my wrist with friction and caused irritation. Thought I wasn't wearing it right so just shrugged it off took it off and ended the day. - Second day wore it to the gym and after a few reps, my goodness it felt so sticky and hot on the wrist. Super rough and grimy. Started pulling at my wrist bulu badly. The irritation was horrible as well. Got pissed and ripped off the film on the heart rate sensor, cleaned it a bit and put it back on. And my goodness it was like I just put on a different watch. - Third day - after a whole day and I felt like I could leave the watch on my wrist forever. The coating is just like your phone non tempered glass regular screen protector. It can be abrasive on your wrist especially when it gets sticky from your sweat or wrist heat. What is more I believe the film traps heat as well. Also my regular heart rate readings were consistently 10+ BPM higher than after I had the film removed from the heart rate sensor, so the film might affect accuracy somewhat. There is a longer pause as well before your watch starts charging after attaching the charger. Now with the sapphire back touching my skin, it feels so much cooler and the watch slides around effortlessly with no friction if I decide to wear it a little looser and able to adjust the position of the watch from time to time. Bulus were no longer harmed. Watch also starts charging almost immediately after attaching the charger. I am considering taking out the layer on the ceramic back as well now. The heart rate sensor and the entire ceramicback really do not need any coating in the first place tbh. Sapphire glass and ceramic are incredibly scratch resistant. Plus those parts will be on your wrist most of the time anyway. TLDR - Get the front and the sides coated will do. Ceramic back, optional but the heart rate sensor is a major no go for coating. You might even get a cheaper price with only the front and sides coated. The front and side coating did come in handy once for me yesterday when I accidentally hit either the side or front screen of the watch when trying to stop a lift door from closing when I was rushing. I'm convinced there would've been at least some scratches had it not been for the coating. QUOTE(Revamperz @ Oct 30 2018, 06:30 AM) QUOTE Once Apple does add the ECG feature to US-based Apple Watches, anyone else heading into Settings > General > Language & Region > Region and selecting “United States” should be good to go. The downside is that you’ll notice a few oddities such as US date formats and whatnot, but if you really want ECG capabilities, it may be a small price to pay. |
