Coming from 6+, I didn't think I would be attached to the 3D Touch... but so far I'm loving the features provided by 3D Touch! Especially the 3D Touch on keyboard for the cursor movement (especially now the screen is bigger... want to reach something away I can just use track pad and move it... instead using another hand or reachability), and my second favorite is the preview, press a bit to preview then harder to open it up (Can use to peep WhatsApp without getting a blue tick tongue.gif).

thumbsup.gif but it feels nicer with the 3D Touch though. I tried it on my 6+, but it doesn't have haptic like XR la.

T&L normally put the CN to lock you down, so you can't cancel haha! But its probably OTW from HK, mine also same thing.

Either you can live with it or just pay more premium to get it.

but it is good for users who have no 3D touch to experience the similar feature. It is a thumb up for apple to continue to improve the user experience for existing users even without new hardware support.
personally i prefer lighting port also, because it is easier to plug in without looking at the port while you are connecting the lighting cable. For usb-c cable, it will hard to plug in without looking at it, even you can do it, the chances of scratching the area near to the port is much higher than lighting port.

but one thing i do not like about the lighting port is the transfer speed. is even the latest iphone x or xs lighting port also only has USB 2.0 transfer speed?
it is damn slow to transfer things out and into the phone particularly the iphone now all have big storage.

The USB2.0 is determined by Apple.. as i know the previous iPad Pro lightning interface is USB3.0 instead. But need Lightning to USB 3.0 converted... lol.

But I think that also if you use lightning to converter to USB3.0 cable... Unless in future they come out with lightning to usb-c or USB3.0 then different story.

Speaking about chargers, the Apple ones are expensive are "basic" but I recalled seeing some benchmarks in terms of the "charge quality" (current stability, spikes etc) the Apple ones are more stable and thus probably better for battery life.

Need to dig for the article again.

4 years old iPhone 6 Plus at 84% battery health tongue.gif using only Apple 4W,10W,12W and Aukey and Anker chargers.

My wife one... was pretty bad... bloated non stop, she using ciplak powerbank most of the time -.-

XR should have better battery life though, it doesn't need to pump as much pixels as the XS Max...

About RM200 not so sure... maybe the Edifier? don't know if the quality is good or not.. but if you were a little earlier there was a promotion by CompareHero to apply SCB card and give free airpods.

Least pixels to churn out, but impressed the XS Max and XS could keep up though. But the XS... a bit slower, is it throttled due to overheating?

EDIT: my bad, its CPU... should be just due to RNG then haha.

Did you accidentally disabled CarPlay on the first prompt? I use 6+, XS Max, 5s on my CarPlay. No issues here.

My car HU the first time you plug in, it will prompt if you want enable CarPlay auto, only 1 time, or ignore. once you ignore then it won't prompt anymore until you reset in the car system again.

The Face ID isn't affected by lighting, it isn't using picture matching but using surface profiling instead. So even pitch black also can unlock one assuming its the same face tongue.gif

Yes even pitch black it would work, and you would agree if you understand how it works. It projects dots of infrared towards the face, and then detected by the infrared camera for detection, so it doesn't matter if its pitch black or with normal lighting (I think it would work better in pitch black and normal lightning perhaps).

Using Hoda TG for XS, so far alright only thing can be improved I guess is for black borders around the ear speakers. Without the black borders can see the edges of the ear speaker opening clearly compared to TG with black borders there eg. RhinoShield (which I'm using on XS Max).
