The Apelonso say the Safety car benefit Hamilton.. I don't understand what he mean.. and I wonder he know what he is saying or not..
without the Safety car.. Hamilton should have pull far far far away to win the race.. |

QUOTE(-= Virgil =- @ Jun 11 2007, 11:13 AM) He was saying that despite Lewis just got out of the pit and actually for the 1st SC, it was a big disadvantage for Hamilton cause his pitting time was written off by cars which are driving at a fast pace compared during the SC where its rather a gamble on the placing... does he?? QUOTE "I think this was a strange race with the Safety Car being deployed so many times which worked to Lewis' advantage today and my disadvantage. I came into the pits for the first time on lap 24 as I had no more fuel so basically there was nothing I could do. It was a shame as this resulted in a ten-second penalty but I guess that unfortunately those are the rules but there was no alternative other than to stop on track with no fuel. After that I had to push as hard as possible because I was stuck in the middle of the field and when you push to the maximum you sometimes go off track but at that stage there was nothing to lose. Whilst it was a difficult race for me I'm pleased for the team and Lewis that we were able to secure some important points and Lewis winning his first race and also that Robert is OK. I hope for a bit more luck for the US Grand Prix next week and at least I can leave Montreal with two points more than Massa." |

QUOTE Stepneygate could decide World Championships OMG!!! Wednesday 4th July 2007 As F1 grapples with the incredible developments of Stepneygate, which culminated in McLaren suspending their chief designer on Tuesday after Ferrari documents were allegedly uncovered at his home, a nightmare scenario looms over the sport: the World Championship being won and lost in the courts. If this happen.. you can imagine how bad it hurt F1... This post has been edited by BuFung: Jul 4 2007, 06:23 PM |

QUOTE(htkaki @ Jul 9 2007, 02:42 PM) Alonso was virtually flying after he pitted for the first time. Lewis was falling behind. Just as Alonso pitted for the 2nd time, Kimi went on to close the gap with fastest lap. This guy is amazing. Alonso in the lighter fuel load(after the short fuel) suppose to be much faster.. he have to open a big gap but end up only open up about 5 secnd(Alonso say so).. that is not enough.... .. ..By the way, heard that Ron actually 'preserved' Lewis' engine, which translates to the lack of pace. True? |

QUOTE(mcchin @ Jul 10 2007, 06:27 PM) technically totally anti-kimi and non fact talking... it was the so called driver of that car that overcooked the corner that flatspotted the tyres plus his "tidak apa" attitude that cause the suspension to break the final decision is still with the driver a driver must at least have a bit of sense how the car is doing not just drive to the max/best he could failing that, he might as well be a drone and be told how to shift, how to take a corner, how to brake for example... massa early on the season have a better start than kimi why? you can say kimi need time to adjust to the car... tyres ...blalalalal but the fact is...during offseason while massa is busy developing with the team, kimi is busy holidaying with his gf getting paid the highest of the two, but do less work now it seems ferrari have built a better car around Kimi, and massa have the sh@t end of the stick again Well, you might say , "why would ferrari waste another talent?" Simple.. Pure Logic. between the two who would you bank on furthering your mission with? and experience driver but a tad old or a brilliant but lazy rookie one you can't change father Time the other you can still change the attitude thats why Barrichello quits ferrari because they were never a two driver team there are only one Driver for the team another is called Constructor Point Drivers edit: typo in red Kimi flatted the tyre because he "over cook" the corner?? go n find that race and watch again la... beside, seem you have a better judge than Kimi or even the McLaren team that time.. you seem to know Kimi sure blow his suspension that time.. that is Kimi "tidak apa" attitude?? Do u still remember how long Kimi carry on with his car that race before the suspension cannot sustain? You know which lap the suspension blow?? come one.. talk fact here.. |

yah.. it is his fault not to pay attention to the back marker... he flat spot the tyre that corner when he overtaking the suckest world champion that time..
that world champion been lapped but look like wanna race with people lapped him... that few final lap he push like mad since alonso chasing him down... that is what u call "tidak apa" attitude??? I am damn not agree with this.... the suspension hold >6 laps in my memory and it blow in front of grand stand of the FINAL LAP.... I truely respect the fighting spirit he have and Ron Dennis said he will do the same and support Kimi decision.... not like people who talk like god who sure know the suspension will blow off that time..... |

QUOTE(Hornet @ Jul 11 2007, 05:09 PM) So Mr Britannica, where in the article mention that ferrari are building their car around Kimi? You think Massa would have just sit back and enjoy being Number 2? He's not even Number 2 yet for god's sake. When you have a new driver like Kimi in a Ferrari or Alonso in the McLaren, you'll have to fine tune the car to their driving style. And by fine tuning means the way it's being set up, handling and stuff like that. It does NOT equate to developing aero and suspension/transmission hardware to suite their driving style. The difference here is that all cars are tuned to each driver's style. Kimi car is tuned to his style while Massa car is tuned to his. And this cannot be done with just the few laps during each grand prix weekend as that time has to be spent to tune the car to the track conditions instead. So fine tuning the car to the drivers style is done during the hundred laps of testing. Did any of those meant that the development of the car is biased towards Kimi? Why not build a McLaren for him instead. Suspension broke because of the vibration of the flatspot. The main reason? tires are not allow to change for that particular season. Once you flatspot a tire, it tend to lock up at that very same spot making situation worse. That incident wasn't a one off and rather was a key issue about the safety of these new rules FIA came up with to spice up the circus show. Eventually, that rule lasted for one year only. If you were to count the number times a drivers flatspot their tires, you'll lost count each race. Everyone flatspot their tires every once in a while. Its just that the tires got change and furthermore, with tire changes, the tire doesn't have to be ridiculously hard that made it easy to lock the tires up badly. Just like alonso, kimi is a world champion material. If you wanna dig out all Kimi's weakness, Alonso has them too even in this season. But what's the point right? Its the result that matters. There's no need to go as far as accusing Ferrari of developing their car for kimi just cause his winning now and he's not in your "ILoveThem" list |
