No matter what they claim, nothing can defy physics. A bigger capacity battery will outlast a smaller capacity battery no matter what manufacturers claim. The tech here is to come up with larger capacity batteries, but in a similar size.

When is the expected delivery date from T&L?

Anyway, good choice on getting a dual sim HK unit. Pointless to get an esim unit as it wont be usable here, at least for now.

One more concrete excuse to get an XS Max now---- Dual sim standby on an Iphone. attw

I do not think Apple.my will honour the warranty of HK sets. But T&L did mention that they are giving warranty for it, which include sending your unit back to Apple.hk if AASPs here dont honour the warranty. T&L is quite a reputable dealer, so yeah, I think its ok to purchase from them.

I did RMA'ed an Iphone 6 from SG and when my seed unit came back, it had a serial no of MY meaning it was replaced with a Malaysian seed unit.

Cant blame the AASPs too. They are only Apple Authorized Resellers and Service centers. If everybody buys overseas sets and be able claim their overseas sets here, there is no point in them investing and opening their showrooms and service centers here. Its a totally different situation in Singapore and Hong Kong as Apple has their own stores and service centers there.

Right about that. Not forgetting Qoo10, Mobile2Go, Shopee, T&L and the list goes on.

Simple. How many units can be sold here? If we have the numbers, Malaysia would be upgraded to first tier launch country like they did with China.
