Having use it since 21-Sep until now, my opinion is Cellular is much better than X and 7 plus with Intel chip. The tremendous improvement is GPS, super more accurate than 1st and 2 gen of Intel Modem. So far no failure of my driving use, last time in my car, I always get no GPS even my Mi A2 with Qualcomm modem can get no GPS signal. This Xs Max so far serve me well.

The Wifi coverage slightly better as well.

Overall either Intel improved, or like what Qualcomm claimed, Apple has shared their codes to Intel where Qualcomm is trying to sue Apple again.

Initially I continue use the original protection film comes with it, but mine got bubble when I put in pocket, I cannot tahan and peel it off and grab an old Android phone tempered glass to cover 80% of the area. I got my taobao tempered glass 2 days ago and was a relief.

I have been using Mcdodo USB-C to lightning charger and cable since a year ago, was enjoying fast charging on my X & ipad Pro until i want to get 2nd set and was told by seller no longer support fast charging since 11.4. Apple original cable still affordable, RM83 with that kind of quality is acceptable, 3rd party USB-C charger still ok to be used for fast charging.

Btw, there is a video mentioned wireless charging faster on Max as bigger/better coil. I notice that as well when my display is still on for listening to music and whatsapp still I am gaining charging rather than slowly losing battery or maintain. Old wireless chargers still works.
