Hi guys, need your help.

During the 12.12 promo I purchased couple of items.

After further checking, I noticed that i have been charged wrongly for my transaction.
After contacting Shopee customer service. They said i have been extra charged 1% because of my credit card. After further reading in this thread it is clear that Shopee are the one who charged me 1% without my prior notice. They not will to refund the 1% amount.

What should i do now? How do i report to relevant authorities?

For now my advice is for you guys to check your credit card statement & boycott Shopee

Didn't know about this part.. Luckily, all my purchases have always been processed via ipay88. Will keep a lookout for other payment gateways being used during checkout and stop the payment.. Try later and hope to get ipay88 again.

Perhaps some of the items are not from Mall/Preferred sellers?

I just checked - Max spending per day is 3,000 coins and max per week is 15,000 coins.

it is a gamble in whatever way one would sugar coated it. the voucher is non-tangible, doesnt bring any value akin to things like love or hope. think of buying a ticket for RM1 then youll 'win' a kiss and chance to participate in lucky draw. A kiss doesnt have any value, as the voucher tht TMT gsve. Even the voucher code is not unique (its TMT18) so every1 on earth will receive the same voucher code. How is that make any value? on the other hand it's totally different from promotion of a supermarket ie, in which you did receive whatever item you bought.

And yes i did go bit off bringing issue of religion, but promoting gambling is illegal as far as malaysian law concern
