got 2 options for sellers:

a) join shopee free 5kg shipping program - only can use poslaju or latest dhl - need carry stuffs to pos office/poslaju centre. all shipping fees on shopee.
b) use your own shipping channel, set your own shipping rate, shopee only subsized 1 or 2 ringgit to buyer.

the announcement meant shopee wanna abolish B subsidy, if a seller still insist on his own shipping, then full shipping rate to be borned by buyer, this would seriously affect buyer's interest to buy from him loh...

ppl who still insist B way mostly got existing company account with courier like skynet/gdex, etc whereby courier come to place to collect, seller no need go pos office/poslaju centre

maybank & cimb card now cannot be used, it show in page top while checkout using card

looks like all platform count on "placed orders" basis, regardless paid or not, or any discount, just the gross amount and accrual basis

management on the right path to overtake lazada -

this kind of fake sales/discount/jualan murah would enrage buyers and would drag more buyer away from online sales if they been duped once or more times before, it is very bad for a ecommerce platform as its hard-to-built reputation is tarnished straight away by its greedy merchants. I already mentioned one big name store before practising this trick every time. kudos to shopee management dare to take action vs lazada just pretend never see it happened on their platform.

the next 2nd bold movement should be taken by shopee management would be against fake products on its platform, and mostly from china. those fake hard disk, fake memory cards, etc. Pity today i read one local malay buyer feedback who seems she still not knowing she was actually dealing with china seller (seller name always end with .my and with a local state address - this is misleading, shopee should rectify this ASAP and put on label of OVERSEAS SELLER big title or any) who writes in bahasa complaining, as with others, got herself a too good to be true low price (fake) branded external hard disk.

not sure anyone else has same feeling about shopee main illness now after it open main door to overseas (china) sellers:

a) massive fake products from china sellers but backed by massive faked 5 star ratings to overtake 1 star rating to keep them alive selling on platform to south east asia market. most fake products found in 3C (computers, telecommunication and consumer electronics). branded fashion stuffs i no sure how serious.

b) fake buyers group engaged to bump seller as preferred seller


US amazon would just ban these seller account for good.

after 15/7, price tag on shopee products may be higher than lazada. so better buy earlier especially for pricey stuff. if product below rm100 should be no big difference.

difference lzd vs shp: lazada charges shipping fess, shopee does not for rm40 or above (or RM20 for selected seller)

one thing merchant (some major merchant) don't like shopee is that there is no similar treatment to all

some sellers still prefer lazada as their main online platform as universal discount code can apply to all, not just biased towards selected seller which happens in shopee (some shopee prefered seller/mall seller tends to raise price tag as they know buyer can use coins to offset some price).

why those china sellers so like to send spam product msg?

now they use dupe acc to send out spam product msg, then the product link once u click would lead to actual store owner (to escape penalty of acc closure i guess, maybe china there are now got pro spam troop engaged to help shopee store owner at a fees)
