Hi fellow Lowyat members, I'm a CG Artist. I've decided to open this thread purely to showcase my 3D CGI works in Lowyat & it will be updated when I have new creations. I do not want to clutter my other service thread with ongoing works. Let me share some of my existing works as an introduction. Thanks for watching!

Blender?

These art looks really cool and the animations are super smooth and sharp. Really good job. Professional quality.

Just the shark one I think is a bit weird coz of the sudden "jerk" of the shark as it knocked the cage. Otherwise, it was a good show.

I think these looks more like c4d. I have a friend in a local production company doing things like this, and their portfolio includes animation for big titles, such as starcraft remastered!

Thanks guys! I've used quite a few software throughout my career over 10 years; from 3DS Max, Zbrush, Maya & a little Softimage. Cheers!

Thanks.
Not planning any workshop at the moment, but may consider if there is a demand for it in future.

Cheers!

Hi, thanks for dropping by & the dry humour; although I can't catch the joke.

And to answer, I'm drug free smile.gif A technique I've been working on lately is to deliberately numb my left brain during the creation process. That loosen my imagination & allow more freedom for instinct to take over.
Feel free to try it out & see if it helps in your own creative work.

Cheers!

Thanks guys!
@zZNekoChanZz I've used several software throughout my career as mentioned above. The one that I personally prefer is Max & Zbrush due to familiarity.
I'm not a die hard fan of any tool (a.k.a. software) however, just use whatever work best.

Cheers!

Here is a commercial project that was recently completed for a client.
It is a loop-able animation for a web page.

Was an interesting project to work on. Felt like a little kid again smile.gif

An author & founder of crowdcuring.com J.P. Davitt wanted to create a series of compelling 3D animated videos to publicise his new book "Better Book". The animated videos introduced each of the 14 chapters using similar animations with slight variations in the contents. I've conceptualise, provided the creative direction & produced the entire series of videos. We had some exchanges on the initial concept & eventually came up with a series of videos that he's happy with.

Here's the first chapter introduction video for the book. Cheers!

A music video project I worked on recently. Produced 3 CGI shots for "Chrysallis - Jordan Winslow"; which includes all 3D CGI, compositing & rotoscoping work. The Director of Photography (DP) wanted some nice shots of a little girl falling down an underground cave. So a highly detailed 3D CGI cave was designed & created for the falling shots, together with some 3D moths visual effects. Cheers!

And here's the full music video:

Created this 3D animation infomercial for a client wanting to show how their UV Pond filter works to their prospective clients.
Having well-designed & high quality product infomercial is critical in business if
you want to stand out among your competitors & impress your clients. Cheers!

This logo opening was created for Crowdcuring.com.
Crowdcuring is an online community where people communicate
and share experiences and ideas about life-altering diseases,
symptoms, or health changes they can’t explain.

And this was inspired by some videos I've saw previously.
So I've created my own version for some experiment.
Music by Jordan Winslow – jordanwinslow.me

Approached by Crown Coffee to produce this 20 seconds promotional video
for Singapore's first robotic barista. Almost the entire video is in
3D CGI animation, other than the Colosseum intro which is live action.
The Robotic Barista is a fully automated 6-axis robot, housed on a cart
with a production rate 5 times faster than any human barista.

Another client Visual Edge wanted to produce this 30 seconds
product marketing video to show how their latest product "Fabexx Zero"
assembles & also to highlight its unique features. Effective use of
product marketing video during trade shows & exhibitions will help boost
interaction & engage your target client better rather than having
a boring booth.
