Hi, need your advice on the following Y530/GTX 1060/W2y+ADP

https://shopee.com.my/LENOVO-LEGION-Y530-81...9688.1540395170

Any advice from this seller?  Or better I get from Lenovo website?

Shopee seller
Pros - cheap
Cons - not sure reputation

Lenovo site
Pros - trustworthy
Cons - if add 1TB HDD + ADP (same spec as Shopee), already reach RM5700.

as mention above, this model use 60hz monitor. better buy from official store if u rly need 1060.

if not just grab 1050 ti with 144hz monitor from EIT Store.

Thanks guys

Final question - anyone actually used the Accidental Damage Protection before this? Due to it adding RM670 to total price sweat.gif

If I use this laptop for graphic design(Photoshop, premier and lightroom), is the display good enough? Will I need i7 for my usage or is i5 sufficient?

You need to opt for 300 nits 72% NTSC 60/144Hz option

If your workload benefit from multi core performance, 8750H (runs hotter though)

He got a bad paste, overall good review (and underrated channel)

There are 2 Y530 reviews in Notebookcheck as well as other websites like Ultrabookreview and LaptopMedia
