Dr how in bangsar did have a good reputation. But ever since he started expanding his business i think his quality of work and conscience is compromised.

I agree. Started putting them on back in December 2011 due to positive reviews - at that point of time he was friendly, attentive and will explain to you thoroughly regarding the procedures and how long it would take. He even put them on and reviewed them himself. That was before his "business expanded". In year 2013, the waiting period was a nightmare - there were times I had to wait for 2 hours!! It was insane and what got me really pissed off was that he started handling down his patients to his assistants/other doctors and his role was just to monitor/oversee the progress which I felt was not fair at all considering the price I paid and the expectation I had. Kept quiet and went along with it before I requested to debond in December 2013 after getting his green light (he was saying that I had a bit more to go but since I was in a rush to debond and seemed happy with my result, he gave me the green light).

A few months have passed and I wasn't pleased with some of the result - hence I returned for the 2nd treatment and was quoted an extra charge. Prolly one of the unwise decisions ever because now I felt I should have went to another orthodontist instead. Am now in the 4th month of my current treatment and what I did not like was the way he treated some of his patients, as sometimes he does not bother to sit with you or to even greet you but to only give instructions to his assistant/other dentist who would carry out the review work.

I wonder if he knows the downside of this expansion that hits him now since he lost his loyal customers who once stood by him. Yes they may have won some awards and being recognised internationally judging from the visitors they have, and the overseas seminars he flies to, but if they could not even retain and please their existing customers, what good would it do in the long run. Seems like this clinic has turned into a commercial like business without the personal touch anymore.
