Still no emui 9, huawei promises worth shit

I had a few weird encounter with battery life, this morning when I woke up, my battery left 17%, I browse FB and Instagram for 5 minutes and the phone shut off due to low power. I find that the percentage is very misleading especially when battery hits below 20%. Anyone else experience this?

Mine can hit until 1%, the problem is the speed of draining from 17% to 1% in a mere 5 minutes normal browsing with WiFi.

I didn't see any button to lock my app to prevent it from being kill except for mi fit app

It mostly happens in the morning right after I wake up. If it hits 20% during day time when I actively using my phone it will drain at slower rate. U can try see if it happens to yours as well

I believe the battery % indication doesn't tell the true state of our battery life, from 100-99% took very long time to drain, after that it will drop faster.

Huawei battery issue really driving me crazy, 16% left around 1.40am, so I off WiFi+data and went to sleep. Woke up at 8.20am the phone auto shut down due to depleted battery.

That's not the point, but usually I will charge at my workplace when I can't use it. 16% drain overnight with WiFi data off is absurd
