QUOTE(abu.shofwan @ Jun 11 2020, 05:57 PM) Just updated mine a few minutes ago. Fast/super charging no longer working. Anyone encounter the same issue? Faced that issue b4. The charging port worn out. Send sc for warranty claim, foc. But if need to pay, it less than rm100, around rm70 iinm. Tried both original P20p charger & cable and also my USB-C laptop charger. Just a couple of days ago these two can charge quickly with no issue. Now it's been on the charger for the last (almost) 30 minutes, and it only got 15% increase... dang!!! |

QUOTE(fkinmeng @ Jun 12 2020, 07:17 PM) this issue kacau me for quite some time already, what i do is pull out and plug in again until get super charge. Charging port phone worn out. Not expensive to replace outside. If ada warranty go 4 itif rosak even faster due to this action also no choice la, normal charging damn slow. |

QUOTE(abu.shofwan @ Jun 14 2020, 12:51 AM) Well Have u tried the wireless charging of any phone? It is too damn slow for full recharge. I will stick to normal speed charging by wire anyday. Now I know my next phone must have wireless charging capability. Though I've never experienced any of my smartphones having damaged ports... Not even from my days of Symbian 60 phones... But I kinda look with envy when my wife use the wireless charging pad for her note 9... |

QUOTE(destiny017 @ Jun 15 2020, 06:26 PM) Unless people travel frequently seldom stay at home, but the fact is wireless charge very slow compare to wired..all wireless charge mostly at 10w while current wired can go up to 65w Yes. This is the reason why i choose wired charging instead of wireless. The phone battery are bigger in size nowadays, ours is 4000mah, 2020 phone most with 5000mah. Dont understand why some user prefer slower charging for sake of battery life. Definitely the phone manufacturers did test extensively when developing the phone, the battery selection as well as the charger port watt. QUOTE(zftrans @ Sep 16 2020, 09:51 AM) I was on android 10.0.0.161. It wasn't working at all. Maps kept saying 'searching for GPS' and waze kept showing no GPS. Iinm the phone is known with motherboard problem, many claim it under warranty which 1st sign of symptoms is gps not workingAfter reading online, some suggested rolling back to 9.1 works. Tried last night, still the same. Can't lock GPS. Not sure what to do now. Starting to think its a GPS antenna hardware issue. |

QUOTE(r3kahsttub @ Dec 7 2020, 02:41 PM) The battery on my P20 Pro just swelled up overnight. I think I need to get the battery replaced. Huawei Support says I can drop it off at any Huawei Center; has anyone experienced this before? Not yet. But i can tell that my battery performance had drop quite a lot. Last time full charge last me from early morning to night around 10pm average. Nowadays max until 5pm.![]() |

QUOTE(muncheno @ Dec 11 2020, 10:57 AM) Are you always only charge your phone when it is almost empty or low %.? My case always let it on charger b4 sleep. Wake up only pull out wire. Battery performance do drop a lot and i blame myself for this practice. Modern lithium battery life reduced significantly if you always use below 50% and always keep charging above 95% for long time. But for 3 years old hp I tend not fully take care as during 1st year own it This post has been edited by ayamxxx: Dec 11 2020, 01:00 PM |
