Didn't encounter it during my 8.1.0. your best bet would be to factory reset and Google play should behave normal. Or also can wait for the EMUI 9

For me it just the original case that come with it just protect the rear ngam² only. Needed other case with in my opinion really have extra space between rear case and lense like UAG
