My P20 got the update already this morning... Just do the steps in the mate 10 thread using hicare app to update

quite true, i just got my 4gb emui 9 update

from mate 10 thread

to download emui9. 0
1) go hicare apps
2) click update. accept the t&c
3) go setting and press check update. It should be appearing

P20 doesn't use AMOLED. Dark mode on LCD will consume more battery.
