That's not how backward compatible works . By your definition, we can insert microSD card into camera that takes Compact Flash card.

Yes. But it fits into the P20 SIM tray...not the microSD tray (different orientation). The NM shape is purposely designed to be the same shape and size as the nano SIM but it doesn't mean older phone's nano SIM reader can read it.

Anyway, why would you want NM instead of microSD, if given a choice? NM offers no advantage other than size. It's slower and more expensive. At least at the present time.

Personally, I like my P20, it's the camera that makes me don't wanna change this phone yet (usually, I get bored within 1-2 month of phone ownership) IMO the camera results are so outstanding

It depends if you prefer pixel-level (not Google Pixel) quality or color profile. To me, Leica's main contribution is its signature colour profile. If you like to pixel peep, HTC U11+ and Sony XZ3 are the best. But it doesn't mean the exposure and color of the overall pic is nicer.

Anyone using Xiaomi Powerbank 3 20k mAh to charge their P20 pro? Would it still be fast charging and not super charge?

I'm thinking of buying either used P20 Pro or S9+ for my dad since he'd lost his phone. Just wondering how does the P20 age after a year? Things like OS update, slowdown, screen burn etc...

The S9+ age better? Does it really slow down after using it for a few months.
My dad uses Oneplus 3T previously, so he used mostly apps from Google (Gmail, contacts, calendar etc)

Ya that's why i wouldn't know if it automatically detects VoLTE or not.
