I was charged sst when I just got the two cards. Last time it was after a year. Is this correct or should I call them and waive? I'm not interested in the Visa card. Just the amex. But that too I wonder if I should keep since no tnb now starting 1june!

Also is paying Unifi via maybank app considered fpx and no cashback?

I wanted to use the card for fuel and utilities since I found out can't reload bigpay with amex after applying it! 🤦🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

You should do more research before applying anything.

1. After SST implementation, tax for the card you applied prior to date will only charge upon Credit Card expiration date of the year. For the card you applied after SST implementation, tax charged once you got it. If you didn't activate the card, you might terminate and ask them waive that.

2. Paying unifi via M2U app with AMEX on weekend comes with CB.

3. BP supports Visa and Master.

Pay Petrol and Utilities with Boost and you have the CB! (except TNB for now)
Remove and add the card again.

I did research. Applied in May. I'm more into cashback. So needed a new card after PB signature & Quantum and HLB wise.

1. Thanks for the suggestion. Will try that.

2. Understood. I checked boost and there's a unifi as well. Maybe I'll just pay via boost then. Added the card. I think coz it was a new card. Haven't used it yet.

3.? The petrol pump? I used it in she'll too on a weekend.

Thanks for the explanation.

Call CS to turn on online transactions for your AmEx card.

Done. Thanks. Think the card was still new.

OT from mbb thread, for this citi cb spending, you can either reload boost/bp for that RM500 or RM1500 to fulfill the mission.

then spend the amount. eg. petrol / reload grab / grocery / eat. to get the max cb on each catagory.

May I know which citi card you guys talking about.

Pre-inform you, just in case TM @ M2U is discontinued (the service is now redundant to both Maybank and TM as Jompay is more cost effective).

Sorry I don't understand. But still can use jompay right if TM @ M2U discontinues. Anyways thanks for the info. Never know. It may come in handy.
