For me, I dont even care or aware of the cashback

I don't think so cashback will even make one rich

eg: cashback rm900 per month = 10800 per year

rm10800 will make you rich? just ponder about it.. lol

those who take advantages of 'little penny' cashback and spend so many thoughts on it ... lol...

but no worries... apolgise if my statement hurt those.... lol ...

but ponders about it if u think rm10k per year will make u rich and proud about it,, go for it.. no one going to stop u ...

and guess what some even care and make super big noise about bp points LOL!

... for me cards are for conveniences , air miles , premium status, and of course for big contest !

10k per year cash back? Will this make you richer? Yes, this definitely make you richer lol

Imagine all this extra X 10, 20 years and all pour into investment? Wah, this will come to something big!!!!

Well, if you are earning 15-20k per month with leftover of over 5k per month after minus all your spending, then this is really means nothing to you lol

For those earning lesser than 10k, this means something to them as maybe the cash for their big dinner, travels at the end of the year.

Don't forget you need to spend big to earn big. Unless you apply plenty of workarounds of course.
Cut short story is trying to search the best credit card to save money and to avoid paying any extra to the credit cards due to fees, taxes.

Max cap here is RM50 which is RM1K spending, so if you max out spending in AMEX, that is the saving.

If you don't even bother about all the discount and savings, then there is no difference for any card to you except whether it is annual fee free for life.

So if you are not interested at all, there is no point to discuss also what is the newest promotion, how to get the best out of the credit cards!

Not all places accept Maybank Amex, and Visa is helpful when you are in that situation.
*
Yes, but you won't want to keep a normal visa card that don't give you any special benefit / cash back at all.

not everyone has multiple cards to begin with.

there could be newbies who just gotten their 1st cc, so m2c is best for them, even m2c visa/mc. until they've gotten other cards, m2c combo is best to serve its purpose.

i too personally been using m2c visa for years until beginning to look into cashback game  biggrin.gif

I don't see why you will take this card if you are not into cash back / special benefit from the AMEX card. There is other much better Visa card around even for Maybank. They came out this card with AMEX just to boost AMEX enrolment as AMEX is not really in demand especially for newbies.

Especially with the SST of RM25 per card. That is why most will cut off the VISA card if given the choice.

The moment SST came in, maybank 2 card lost their trademark.

dual card application.

cannot cancel either card.

You mean when apply, you got two card, have to pay rm25 each as sst regardless whether you cut off visa card and remain amex later stage, as here alot mention they cut off the visa/master and remain the amex only.
