Hello all,
I will need to make a payment of about RM 26k next week (local transaction for university fees), and hoping to use one my credit cards (credit limit is RM 30k).

My queries are :
1. Which one of my cards would be the best choice to earn maybank treats points ?

2. Is it advisable to opt for monthly instalment plans with maybank ? (I can pay the full amount, but just wondering if there's a better way to optimize my finances).

My credit cards (currently zero outstanding payments):
1. Maybank Visa Infinite
2. Maybank Platinum 2 Cards (Visa)
2. Maybank Platinum 2 Cards (AMEX)

if is 0%, why not? but remember it will eat up your credit limit, and reduce month by month till it is cleared.

it is upto availability by the merchant (this case, the university).

Hello,
My cards (2 cards platinum) expiry is in September 2020.

Some questions I'd like some help with please:

1. Does anyone know what's the policy for renewal - do I have to initiate the process or will Maybank initiate it ?

2. How far ahead should the renewal be done?

3. If the card expires, will the TPs expire as well ?

Hoping to check this since I notice some online platforms require a minimum 3-month validity on the card for purchases.

1. You don't need to do anything or remind. MBB will initiate and mail/courier to your mailing address you submitted during application.

2. Recently Maybank will send the renewal card within 1-2 months of expiry. In your case you should receive it from August onwards.

3. No. But the TP has 3 years expiry from the date you collect it.

Thank you so much!

I'll look out for mails from Maybank then.

Hi all
Does anyone know if MBB credit cards are eligible for points if used for paying for insurance premiums?
