Submitted cancellation request on 4 Feb 2019 via FB message. CS contacted me on the same day, informing me it is allowed to cancel 1 out of 2 cards. I mentioned to CS that many Lowyat forumers mentioned it is no allowed to cancel 1 out of 2 cards for saving on SST purpose. He clarified stating it is allowed. The cancellation can even be done on the spot if I activate the card (I did not activate cause I am worried about getting SST charge).

Today I followed up again via FB and got a call as well. This CS informing me the cancellation is in progress and it is expected to complete by 14 Feb 2019. He also mentioned to me if I have activated the card, he can do the cancellation on the spot too. (again I did not activate cause of the SST concern)

Let's see the end results by 14 Feb 2019. To be continued....

guys, do you know how long before the cards can be collected?
i applied on feb 11th (8pm-ish), got approved on 12th.. and this morning (13th), i saw both cards already listed in my m2u.
can i collect today? or should wait 3 days as instructed?

they sent sms saying can collect, few hours after i called the cs.. and now collected ady. 

actually this is my 3rd time also. the first 2 time apply, rejected 
same branch, september 2018, and another one some years ago, apply from booth in mall.
but back then, my ccris no record at all. i read somewhere saying that no record also bad impression in their eyes.
so i built up my ccris record using another card i have from hsbc. 6 month payment cantik (started using from august 2018.. cun cun 6 months payment, no outstanding), and i apply again. straight away approved. 

Do you have any relation with Maybank before? like you have any Saving account/FD with them? If you have, you got a higher chance to get the card!

I received my m2c today and surprisingly they didnt show the credit limit of these cards! Not only that, when I want to activate it via m2u, these 2 cards information doesnt show in my m2u account!! I apply these credit card via m2u and disappointed when the card information doesnt show in my m2u. I have to call their CS to enquire it which wasted my phone credit and my time to do it.

Less than 24 hours. I applied on tuesday night via m2u, received sms on wed, then received card on thur (14/2). Very fast, right?

Might as well straight bring form to Maybank at KLCC? Faster right?  Or can't apply there anymore?

Years ago that's what I did. One weekend I go KLCC shopping.  I didn't even fill out the form.  Go there apply. The counter girl help me.  Print out EPF was sufficient back then.  Was told to pickup in 1 hr.  Less than 30 mins got sms and went to pick and straightaway swipe at Isetan 

u just submitted. dont expect 1-2 day response time.

usually after 1 week (or 2 weeks worse case) to know the status from bank.

Email is very slow one. They take sweet time to reply. Why didn't u go to any MB branch to apply? They can help u chase it faster. I went to normal branch apply then got approved and received card in 3 days.
