Not sure if the rules are different now, but you don't have to utilize the treatpoints. Just call and ask them to transfer to your new cards, if necessary. Talk to the CS.

My card finally got approved yesterday. And today they showed up in Maybank2u with the “Pending activation” status. Can I pick them up today or do I need to wait for next week?

The instruction is to pick up the card. It stated there that I can pick up 3 days after it has been approved. But since it presented in my maybank2u account already, I’m wondering if the card is ready to be collected. If not then I’ll just wait next to collect it.

Given that Maybank TreatsPoints is devalued around November 2019, I wonder whether this amount of TreatsPoints to offset Card Service Tax is still valid, or not. If the redemption rate is no longer valid, Maybank should have updated the FAQ.

Anyway, we really hope that 10,000 Maybank TreatsPoints redemption for RM25 of Card Service Tax per card is still valid.
