Try full backup and hard reset. If problem persist, it could be mobo issue. Time to claim warranty.

Umm, so... Is this something normal? Result after calibrating the battery. All apps' background activities had been limited. No airplane mod, battery saver is off. Wifii's on.

Yes. This is normal if keep the FB, IG and other social apps running and "steal" background data.

You can set into each apps and turn OFF "background activity" option:

I see.. Thanks for the heads up! The only problem I'm facing now is the slow charging process. 3++hours still not fully charged.. Maybe bcoz I don't use the charger and wire provided.. Also, how many times do we need to calibrate the battery for first use? I read that 3 times is enough..

Most likely if you return, they refund to either into your Lazada wallet (if purchase by cash or 7-Eleven) or debit back to our credit card/PayPal account (including installment)

Something is not right with your background activity(ies). I'm pretty sure there is wake-lock issue that push the charging all the way above 3 hours... I guess the unit is a bit warm even stand-by during 8 hours sleep, right?

But, don't worry for this small matter, the M1 is having more than enough to survive from 5am to 11:59pm everyday... We just need to worry if there are rogue apps (cracked or illegal apk files) that contribute to wake-lock activity(ies)...

Errr... better hard reset first and see from there on-words...if persist, return to Lazada with reason "DEFECTIVE" (with clear and concise description) and you'll get refund... in the mean time (14 days refund period...), you can revert back to your old phone or find other new units with better discount (?)...

Yeah, it's either a wakelock issue or because data or wifi is on. Try charging with data/wifi off or better still, on airplane mode. There should be a difference in charging time. If there's no difference, then it must be rogue apps or something else.

4% in 40 minutes is not normal for this phone. This is mine, also no airplane mode but data saver and battery saver on (coz I was sleeping, haha)..

Most of us here are getting this kinda numbers. Maybe a reset and check on your apps as advised by the others above.

And don't worry too much about calibrating your battery. I overdid it myself. Like what our brader attw said, once in a month or once in a few months is good enough.

Besides, Lithium based batteries have no "memory" and cannot actually be calibrated. It's just the phone's battery stats that get reset - for more accurate battery optimization by the phone and level indications for the user (that's what I read, anyway).
