I was thinking about this as well biggrin.gif

The presenter make this estimate coz he assuming the family live in 1k sq ft condo that is worth around RM 1 mil.

The cars he say more reasonable to assume one "nice" car and 1 "lowyat" car

Well, the presenter say these figures all based on his experience as insurance agent. This is the rough expenses breakdown for a family of 4 in KL coming in to buy insurance. biggrin.gif

Good point. Once the breadwinner dies, who's gonna fork out RM11k a month?

Hence the workshop i went to. It was talking about the importance of life insurance. Say the family need some kind of IL policy to sustain this lifestyle for 5 years if one of the parent mati
