I frankly think this is obviously a subjective question since different people carry out different activities and the various e-wallets available might cater to these different activities best so it's incredibly difficult to objectively grade all these e-wallets in the same manner. But from what i've experienced i think it can be broken down into two main aspects of priority when it comes to picking e-wallets. The rewards and the general availibility.
I think that grabpay wins in the rewards aspect hands down! It's the only e-wallet where what you see is what you get. Unlike all other e-wallets that seem to commonly offer cashbacks that range in value(i.e. When i spend RM10 on boost i've received cashbacks ranging from RM0.10 to even RM 0.50),whereas with grabpay i receive a known amount of points which in my opinion is better since accumulation of points to redeem rewards is undoubtedly the safest bet if you're seeking to obtain the most out of an e-wallet system which if you're not, there's no point in venturing into this domain!
Secondly, the availibility. In this regard, boost wins by a long stretch. I'm from East Malaysia and i literally see boost merchants every corner of the street! Which if i'm to make an intelligent guess, i can only imagine boost being as widely accepted as cash payments these days in West Malaysia. This competently makes boost an efficient option to have and utilise on a daily basis in addition to the cashback factor known to all.
In short, i'd suggest grabpay as the top choice closely followed by boost in places where grabpay is not accepted(*which is quite a lot). I hope this helps!

QUOTE(CardNoob @ Jul 23 2019, 08:23 AM) Battle Of Malaysian E-Wallets: Who Offers The Best Service Among All? If you enjoy getting discounts, rebates, or cashbacks whenever you dine out or shop, GrabPay and Boost are the champs. But if you had to choose between the two, just ask yourself these questions: do you use Grab to commute frequently? Do you eat in a lot and resort to ordering from GrabFood? If you answered no, Boost is the preferred choice. The Touch 'n Go e-wallet is very useful to reload or check your Touch n' Go card, which will help prevent you from becoming the reason for the long queue at the toll lane (read: insufficient balance). So regardless of any e-wallets you may prefer, the Touch 'n Go app appears to be a necessity for those living in the city, especially for those who drive to work every day. Fave, on the other hand, is another e-wallet out there that offers similar functions and cashback, but with limited restrictions to its cashback system, this may seem as a major drawback for users. So, which do you think suits you the most? Share your thoughts in the comments section below. http://www.rojakdaily.com/lifestyle/articl...d_zq9BVp60UAznY Tbf, grabpay does offer cashback. They call it rebate. But yes, as observed, there are extremely limited merchants and the merchants that offer these rebates are even smaller. But, i've gotten back the most per transaction via grabpay than i have from boost or any other e-payment options for that matter.

QUOTE(hazlin @ Sep 29 2019, 03:25 PM) what do you mean no good? super shake boost offers first prize proton x70, phone, victoria secret 500 voucher, iphone rm2500 voucher and so much interesting prizes. today is the last day you should totally join I think what he means to say is that this whole super shake thing is highly unpredictable. Your odds of winning something via super shake is slim to nothing. In other words, it's basically impossible to win unless you're extremely lucky! Placing your eggs in this basket in its entirety is not a sensible thing to do. Don't get me wrong, boost is great. i use it very regularly. On the contrary, it isn't an e-wallet in which you can build onto something bigger and that's the underlying issue with boost for me!

QUOTE(adele123 @ Sep 30 2019, 01:56 PM) Your input intriguing. Do you think other ewallet can be towards something bigger? I agree with you though. Do you think you will be still be using boost regularly? I assume that you're referring to e-wallets becoming more appealing to consumers on the first part. I think they can! However, i do not think that they will. This is because, that involves fundamentally altering their approach towards their entire business model. To illustrate, Boost isn't as rewarding toward their consumers as they used to be once before. This trend is somehow inevitable when it comes to a fast-growing business platform such as Boost. Understandably, this is to enable them to sustain their approach and to preserve their ecosystem. This is precisely why Boost isn't my top choice payment method. Nevertheless, i will still be using Boost regularly due to reasons mentioned previously. Boost is basically still and in my opinion, will always be a member of the apex group in a long and never-ending chain of e-wallets!
