I do agreed with you, should call them m-wallets indeed.
Wechat Pay still cannot consider ask wallet yet as their transfer function wasn't active yet.
I see, are you Maybank QR pay only usable with M2U bank accounts only. right?
*
Merchant/Seller doesn't have to according to MBB QR Pay thread.

Ya, I knew about seller can using other local banks.
I'm asking about users is that must using Maybank bank account in order to PAY?
*
User must have MBB account for sure.
If not why call MBB QR Pay?
It's tied to MBB CASA from M2U App.

Who can use Maybank QRPay?
All new and existing Maybank2u customers with the Maybank app on their smartphones are able to use QRPay services.

Oh please!
They haven't fixed their Switch Wallet Region!

TnG App is definitely much better than them!

TNG backend system still lamn, even with alipay tech and experience support, their transaction network is slow and still not able to fully integrate or replace TNG card, one word --> not convenient to use

See their respective user comments on app store will know, alot of good comments for boost, alot of complaint for TNG
*
The TnG card is a dinosaur technology which the card balance needs to update manually.
This can be seen in auto-reload on Zing card.

The TnG physical card balance in the TnG App can only be reflected with the latest balance within 48 hours of the last transaction.

Full integration is complex for TnG physical but RFID will be more promising!

BigPay, GrabPay, TouchnGo e-wallet and Boost are saving CC info at their server or payment server.

I didn't perform data migration from old phone to new phone.

Stored credit card info are able to retrieved back upon logging in.

It is normal for the them to store credit card info at their side. As long as we need to give OTP to perform transaction then is okay... But boost can transact without OTP..
*
I remembered Grab and GrabPay also no need OTP.
