Poco f1 will be coming to our shore really soon 💪

I'll skip. Wanna see long term review first, afraid there is drawback that allows it to be so cheap.

And hopefully, will have the armor edition later on.

Get a chance to play with Pocophone F1 now.

First impression:
- the phone looks plasticky cheap, but the soft touch materials is nice.
- the screen is natural n nice. White is true white. Better than my note 9 and u12+ display. But black is better on note 9 (obviously) and u12+ .. pocophone lcd bleed is noticeable on black display n in dark room.
- the speaker is the loudest, but u12+ n note9 has better sound quality.
- the rear camera definitely cant beat note9 and u12+ .. i have to wait for tomorrow to really test it out.

Well some info...

1) The phone comes with black smokey transparent case or clear transparent case (either one).

2) not many bloatware installed in the unit. And all can be uninstalled.. facebook, word, excel, powerpoint, skype, lazada, outlook, booking.com, mi roaming, miui forum and wallpaper carousel.

Some system apps that i think are junks (well im not used to miui) n cant be uninstalled are yellow pages, scanner, mi credit, mi cloud & drop.

3) the phone out of box comes with june security patch update. No new update so far.

Yups. Tried and satisfy with it. It works at the angle my iPhone X couldnt (my ipx had difficulties to detect my face when i lay down on bed).

Btw, i always prefer back button to be on the left side. Does anyone knows if miui allows customization to the navigation button?

Sorry I couldnt disclose where i got it. Hmm Malaysia only has blue n black colour.

Btw the poco got nice small led at its chin!

after 1 and a half day testing the phone, my conclusion is, this phone is really worth the money, only if performance is your main priority. So, between this and OnePlus 6, i find no reason to buy op6, unless the non rated water resistant feature in op6 attracts you.

Between this and Mi 8? no doubt, save your RM400! Buy this phone, put case on it, u wont notice any different!

If you think mid range snapdragon or kirin processor is good enough for your usage, this phone might wont appeal to u so much because there are many mid range phones out there that offer better package - better build quality and better camera.

Also, if you are enthusiast and have the money, i feel it is still worth it to spend premium on phone like Galaxy Note 9, U12+, and P20 Pro.

can back button get customize from right to left?

i saw reviews they manage to change the back button to the left side of home button. but last time during my time with the pocophone, i couldnt find it. does anyone here knows how?

4G+ or 4G in malaysia is no really big issue. The issue with our connection is not top speed, but consistency..
