I had never any GPS problems on HW Mate series from 7 till 9, one plus 3t,. 5t and oppo 7 and 9 too
I think most users having GPS seem to be related more to u mobile? I used either CELCOM or Digi on mine

No issue for POCO, Mi 8 & for the newer phones. Previously yeah, but now no more. If you're using lousy & a cheap carrier network.

We don't know. We are not seller. Call up Xiaomi and ask how can I avoid lemon unit from you. As wai also said, go claim warranty. Case ended. (I highly doubt performance is claimable, maybe u buy proton and ask for porche performance and claim warranty )

2) Errr.. lemon unit can also come from official store.. just like my 1st unit of F1... The portrait mode for the rear cam is faulty out-of-the-box ... Bought during promo for RM1249 with free 1-year Lazada Care...so, I returned the unit for full refund...

Now, after waited for 2 months, I bought another one (128GB variant @ RM1,399) from 11street with 12 months 0% interest via AMEX (still official local set with free 10K Mi Powerbank and Mi Golf earphone; but not from official Mi Store) and doesn't have detrimental issues ...

3) I think Mi Shop(s) accept installment but with extra fee. So, not worth buying there. Better get from online store and can just return-refund if got issue(s)...

Since multitasking is the priority, ensure to get 6GB RAM variant for long term satisfaction...
