Tested Huawei 5V/4.5A/22.5W Supercharger+Original cable on Poco F1
1. MIUI got additional lightning icon (lightning in circle)
2. charge from 15% to 100% in 130minutes (p20 pro charge 0% to 100% in 90minutes)

I didnt open up my qc3 charger yet,
anyone here got comparisons?
especially qc4 charger...

Think no difference. Given stock charger charges 0-100 % in around 130mins

tonight i try to push my battery to 0% and test again.

quite hard to achieve 100% consumption in a single day 😅

Out of topic for a while:
NOVA prime on sale in playstore: Only Rm 1.49
If poco launcher not your thing and wanting to get NOVA prime, this will be best time to grab it.
*
QUOTE(freddy manson @ Dec 24 2018, 11:22 AM)
i get it for 99cents USD last year
Nova Launcer Prime is still my launcher for PocoF1 now, but on other phones i use Hyperion Launcher
*
i bought it... RM1 only 😉
but poco launcher is my default for now

15% to full take 130 min kinda slow as compare to stock qc 3.0 charger
*
supercharger suppose only works for huawei phone,
and it is the fastest charger on the market.

im actually kinda surprised poco support it,
although it is slower due to limited compatibility
im jus happy the fast charge works

how to know if supercharger works on my poco?

coz right now im using my previous charger from huawei to charge my poco, too lazy use the new one.
*
quick charge logo will appear it fastcharge.
mean when u charge u will hv 2 charging icon
1. normal battery icon with lightning
2. quick charge icon (lightning in circle icon)

QUOTE(azhar75 @ Dec 24 2018, 11:25 PM)
Super-charge only for supported Huawei / Honor devices. If we use the Super-charge + super-cable on any phones, it will only draw ±10
*
at least it still faster than ur average charger

QUOTE(darrenwks @ Dec 25 2018, 10:47 AM)
ok this one explains much clearer

after i switch to the xiaomi now it's stating fast charging + circle lightning icon

do i have to use the cable provided by the xiaomi as well? or just the plug will do?
*
if u can see the quick charge icon mean ur cable support qc lo, some dont support it

some cheap cable will reduce the charging current, but not much different la

so far all my cable hv qc, can't comment on lq cable

I believe the initial point was the network location, the GPS locking might take sometimes on Poco F1

i drove for 10mins, gps still won't lock

Thats why i hate proprietory tech.

Cant they all use usb-power delivery. Just like the google pixel.

Better use open standard than proprietory.
*
i think qc4 support usbc pd,
mean poco hv it too...

reason they all fight for own propriety charger coz everyone wan the fastest charging title, more selling point...

and i missed my huawei charging speed, 15mins to 30mins charge can fill up 50% battery...

try the apps in play store
those 'fix gps' apps
and also, there is a tips
///
search for 'a-gps settings' in your settings
and see what is the server address and server port
CHANGE THE ADDRESS TO
supl.google.com
keep the port as 7275 ir 7276
///
i asks TS to add this to front page but maybe he/they missed this info
all the same, try to get the best deal for it.
i got it from g-store@lazada or the physical shop is Mobile2go
*
thanx... aldy set the settings
later will try

QUOTE(kucingfight @ Dec 28 2018, 10:15 AM)
which network are you on?
i'm on Umobile, and it doesn't give me instant lock on location.
most of the time, it takes 3-4mins to catch on gps while i'm stationary
Many has said this is due to umobile issue, but i beg to differ as my previous Huaweis (5x,nova 2i) and my wife's samseng s7e does not have this issue. So i'm thinking it's Mi issue,as i'm having same problem on A2 lite and now F1 (probably less severe, but it shouldn't be this way)

i thought upgrading from A2 lite to F1 would solve this issue, but it did not

in my condition, opening 'GPS Test' shows many and almost instant catch on "IN VIEWS" satellite. but the problem is, those satellites are not "IN USE" . it only manages to lock on after few mins . Once it is lock on, it works wonderfully. the moment GPS is off and reuse, then i this problem happens again

I rmbred using GPS fix, clear data and redownload AGPS data, and it instantly locks on GPS. so i'm thinking is more of an software issue.
*
umobile...
i suspect my agps is working but not the device gps
coz i managed to get the initial gps point, and it wont move while iam driving...
that y im considering to return this phone.... confused.gif

dont think anything releated to telco...

Anyone here having GPS iisue with the pocophone? My gf bought 1 the phone kept having issue with GPS when using waze. Keep having to reboot the phone for the GPS to work properly. Any solution or is it a known problem???
*
yes, got this problem too
still no solutions

try download GPS Test, then goto AGPS -> Clear and Update,
i noticed after i did this once, the gps start to lock and no need reboot.
but it still required few minutes, not instant lock

QUOTE(freakenstein @ Jan 9 2019, 01:57 AM)
Have you tried tweaking your A-GPS settings? Pretty much fixed my GPS issues for me. GPS used to lose connection while playing PokemonGO , now not an issue anymore.
*
using supl.google.com:7275/7276 doesn't helps in locking speed
i still need couple of minutes.
i suspect the antenna isnt correctly assembled

I'm going to test if telco or f1 issue.
Previously on Pixel XL, cant recall issue with Waze before, except when underground and totally no data connection so it cant calculate route, once go out from got back signal, immediately lock and navigate.
*
if u believe it is telco, u can use google supl.google.com:7275/7276

but for me, after i install the gps test, i did the AGPS -> Clear and Update...
i solved 50% of locking problem...
before this... i really really cant lock the gps at all... even after reboot
almost i hv to goto RMA

Cant recall if you're the one to recommend last time or someone else, but I had that supl.google.com:7275 changed for long time already, no difference.
*
not me, i just repost the recommendation
coz ppl complaining the umobile cant get the agps satellite info.
then use google agps lo.

anyway this settings doesn't work for me too

for now jus try install the Gps Test from playstore
their settings works for me, although it still suck
