I don't trust those well known YouTuber. The most reliable is directly from the end user that using their own blood money to purchase it. This phone main selling point is the SD845 & India developers for optimization.

Look, anyone who is interested in buying a flagship is already looking at ipX, Samsung note 9 or even the pixel. They want the best of everything. Phones that can make them then their heads are those like op6, Huawei mate or p20, or maybe even mi mix2s. Their budget is thereabouts and no way they gonna look at pocophone..

636 vs 845 in theory which one is better for battery efficiency...i can only assume it was 636 due to low freq and low performance gpu....what stop me now to get the f1 was the sot....i can achieve 10 hour sot on my redmi note 5...read somewhere poco can only do 8hour...for me, i prefer that extra 2 hour sot over performance...becuz i dont games...at all..

I really considering go back to Xiaomi, but so many ppl hate miui, I'm concerned. Frankly, last time when I use Xiaomi, it started to lag after awhile. But that was the original redmi phone, and it was dirt cheap..

I am a EMUI user and I'm fine with it.

With AI looks nicer. Wonder if this on par with Mi8 or less.

Here's my first impressions after playing around with my unit for an hour
- The back material is the same as what they used for the Redmi Note 2 and feels not as nice as the one used on past Lumia phones
- Still, the built quality is good imo. Phone is solid, nothing rattles or creaks, buttons are clicky
- Screen in Standard mode has quite accurate colors. The glass itself has oleophobic coating. Notch is too big imo, no notification icons can be seen, also no space for battery percentage due to the notch.
- Speakers are loud
- Animations look as if on fast forward,kinda like what OnePlus does to their phones
- Apps open near instantly, even when not in RAM
- The back is cool to the touch even when downloading and installing a lot of apps

Just a couple of things which I found kinda funny, which happened at this morning Mid Valley's launch event. They opened their shop right by the side of Oppo and the host/MC accidentally welcomed(she shouted it out loud on the mic) us to the launch of 'Oppo F1' by mistake, she immediately apologised for it and quickly corrected herself. She also mentioned that the first guy in the queue wearing a bright orange hoodie has actually been there since yesterday night at 8 o'clock in the evening(which probably also meant that he probably ignored the guards when they were chasing him out during closing hours, #THUGLIFE    ). I started queueing around 9A.M. and I am like the 36th of 37th in line when I counted.

Random facts aside, here are a couple of questions for those who have got the phone their hands already. Can you figure out how to enable showing battery percentage on the status bar up top? I tried finding it out on Google and it's probably still too new that no such thing is being mentioned in any articles. Have you guys tried out any versions of the ported Google Camera app on this phone? I couldn't get it to work with a few latest versions which I could find, they were all crashing despite being mentioned that it should work in here(XDA's article).

Also, I only found out that this phone does not have NFC after buying it. 

Dang I want to buy the armoured edition but it's 2.4k. My gf is pestering me to get note 9. She went ahead and get one today and asked me to get  it to.. my heart is with Poco but I need to know if it suffers the same issue as 5z where there's bugs on the software or not. Argh....

Tested just now at One Utama against my P9. When trying the camera, dunno why it has the vertical black lines like aiming the phone at a laptop screen while my P9 was ok there.

Aside from the great specs, nice blue colour and price, I really can't find anything else nice about the phone.

I can confirm that. My Redmi Note 3 also have GPS issue

+Just tested Poco F1. Yeah really this phone is meant for performance and gaming, really worth to get. For that reason then can buy. Other than that not my liking.

-Screen quality very bad, color very bad, overall faded not saturated color. Other midrange Xiaomi device has better screen quality than this within same IPS LCD. For media consumption like YouTube or watch online drama, anime, movie doesn't look nice.

-Camera memang so so saja but given it is this price point so it is considered good.

845 is good.

But performance is determined by optimization etc etc. Not only the processor.

Played with the phone at the shop. Somehow feels like its not optimised.

Speakers are not that loud even though got stereo speakers.

Basically u are just paying for that 845 chip which is not good enough

You're the first person I saw complained about the display. Most reviews have little complain about it, being an IPS panel. Having said that, the panel is not HDR10 compatible.
I started to doubt there are more than one LCD suppliers?
