I started a bulk today and trying to get 10 people to join, it's an USA Saber, offering people to come check the product out first and can buy it using COD method. Some say it is illeagal because the knife is weapon, but i feel that it is just a tool that you can drop by any uniform shop and get it for scout purpose. Bulkers, feel free to give your feedbacks, how do you feel if you are a trader like me?

I'm surprised you have to ask when someone in that thread already told you they weren't allowed and pasted a link there.

same here, and it is very obvious that the knife is for camping use. It's not like it is a sword or something, that can only be use to murder someone.

There is a difference between a swiss army and the type of knife kedaikakilelong is selling. In some countries (UK, Australia for example), the sale of knives to people below 16 is prohibited. Our prohibition is not without reason.

RBR, I'm not shipping them, in fact I'm doing a C.O.D, I'm only using this forum for a point of communication...

My point is that its a dangerous weapon. The knife you're selling is obviously very sharp and dangerous (as you yourself admitted) and we don't want kids getting hold of it and accidentally chopping off fingers with it right? Thats blood on your hands and worse, blood on ours. Even if you didn't care, we do.

the worse part is i took my time to take pictures of the item, write proper description and answer questions of the people, doing it as my rice bowl, the moderator just removed my thread and i didn't know what happened, there was no PM or notification, just disappeared... and my hardwork gone

http://www.aseansec.org/14296.htm

Goods prohibited on import or export are listed under the Customs (Prohibitions) Order. Generally such goods are being categorised as absolutely or conditionally prohibited.

1.

List of Goods Absolutely Prohibited from Import

.......

Daggers and flick knives (switchblade knives)

We're just being safe, not unreasonable. I'm sorry if you feel otherwise.

I can put a line there that the buyers must be 18 and above

1. It was in the rules, you didn't follow it. We have every right to delete it as we see fit.

2. We don't typically PM/notify unless you request for reasons. You did so by opening a thread here and we replied within 1 hour.

3. Shawty already replied in your thread that it was prohibited. You paid no heed to it. Whose fault is that?

4. Its our ass on the line if something goes wrong when you sell a prohibited item, not yours.

If you would like to appeal, use reasons not emotions.

Sometimes i really do get confused. We did not make these rules yesterday, it has been there all along. When the rule quite clearly says sales of knives are prohibited, why do members who register barely a few days ago still see fit to open a thread to sell them, and when it gets closed, come up and make a complaint that we're being unfair?

The rules are there to be followed, don't give excuses. You think if the next member decided to open a bulk for say AK47 guns, and 'claims' it is to be used to decorate the wall of bedrooms, we're supposed to allow it?

Be practical.
