U mean in dark place the screen will bright up alot to unlock?

No, just like normal but more than 30 to 40 cm cannot unlock, if it is used IR should be no problem even a bit far from our face.

For selfie the screen will bright up alot to take photos.

Confirm got 4G+ and have indicator but maybe must located at the place signal very strong, I had got the indicator nearby Sri Rampai.

That is a good news. I wonder why it didn't show 4G+ even at places that is 4G+. Anyway, it doesn't bother me as the speed is as fast as I am using P20pro.

Finally bought 1 unit at direct d. 128 gb in black. I dont really feels its that big. For record, my previous daily driver is huawei mediatab x1. i used it for two years and before that, my phone is samsung galaxy mega, another big phone. I changed to smaller phone last year, redmi note 4 since its hard to carry mediatab x1 when i running or exercise.
I tried to put this phone in my running waist pouch and its fit although i need to cut the partition inside.

anyone know how to set the notification part?

somehow a lot of apps dont show notification and the push notification is a lot slower than my mi max 2.

enable and tested some but notification wont show at lock screen, once i unlock it is there at status bar.

honor note 10 teardown. the liquid cooling inside is similar like galaxy note 9 and pokofon. the only drawback is this phone doesn't have ip 68 rating and if not it will be perfect.

Short review.
Comparisons made to my 2 previous devices, oneplus 5t and vivo nex s.

Performance
Slightly less snappy than sd845 but still not considered laggy by any means. Very comparable to sd835. Very usable.
Screen
Better than opo5t in terms of color pop.
Better than nex s in terms of color saturation and contrast. I find the nex too washed out for amoled.
This screen will blow away any non amoled.
Even my wife, an iphoneX user said the colors were nice.

Gaming
I play slow games so i see no lag. Again comparable to sd835. Din try the game boost.
Speakers
Very loud stereo speakers. Good for video consumption. First time in my life where the ring volume is not set to max.
Camera
Im not a big camera user but for the most part its usable and comparable to the nex. Maybe lower than the opo5t.
Fingerprint and faceID
Fast enuf, no complains.
Battery
6.30am to 12.30am
1hr waze, 1hr youtube, minimal gaming, reading and replying text the whole day.
42% battery left.
Software
Install google apps np.
Launcher change np.
Half the bloatware unistalled.
Notification needs some tweaking in the settings. The system kills background apps overzealously.
Display autobrightness is the best ive ever seen.

All in all only 2things I dun like.
The provided screen protector slightly not as smooth. I will be removing that at some point.
The notification bar is monochrome (icons black and white) and very very small. Very hard to see the + in the 4g+.

If you're looking at this phone, you either game or watch videos a lot.
You wont be disappointed.

Any1 received any updates? Saw in fb grp, got update and can use full screen gesture. Not sure how true is that

got that update, but I think now is only release to who register as internal tester only. Not yet fully release to all.

Oh i see... Btw any owner here tried linking the hp to tv using hdmi? Working smoothly? Or need special kind of adaptor?
