Any1 know whether this model using face-unlock with IR sensor or just regular face unlock using camera? I know Nova 3 is using ir face unlock.

Also any idea this model got ir blaster?

This morning went to directd pj (my workplace is nearby) asking for honor note 10. Got stock but the sales person dont want to sell to me. Adviced to wait for global rom. At first i insist but according to sales person the china rom got problem with gps. Went back to office with empty hand.
Rm1895 for 128gb model.

Got mention when global rom coming? I saw at 11st selling only 1849 by direct d.

I wonder where did they get the info there will be global rom? Honor/Huawei have not release any information that this phone will be available globally, therefore no information if there will ever be any global rom available.

Here is some of my feedback after few days usage:

1) I do not see any issue with GPS, it is working fine with Waze or Google map. No issue at all. Locking is the same spped as my P20 Pro
2) There is no voLTE or VoWIFI available. If voLTE is important for you, don't get this phone. At this moment, it is not available.
3) I notice that there is no 4G+ indicator although it is working on CA. I am pretty sure CA is working as the speed is as fast as my P20 pro with 4G+, using the same network. I will check again later to reconfirm this
4) I have received two firmware update since I got this phone, and the security patch is already Aug patch.
5) I have no issue with all my apps and everything else is working fine.

Bro want to ask 2 things:
1. Face unlock is it using IR? Can unlock in dark place?
2. Got ir blaster? To use as remote controller

Bought 128gb version but received 64gb. Ampeh punya directd 11street..

2) No, it does not have IR blaster, so it does not work as remote controller

Yes, only Volte not working, because I try Yes 4G for data works fine can get 3.5Mhps, other than that everything is fine for China rom! Including play store, GPS, all the lte band state in the spec sheet, in addition face unlock work fine in total dark within about 30 to 40 cm more than that not work!

Thks for the reply. If can unlock in dark places then i think it should be ir. U can notice tiny red light blinking when u try to unlock in dark place. Better than oneplus 6 that uses the screen brightness to brighten face during unlock

Actually I’m getting this as second phone for media consumption. Want a big screen. And it’s amoled with hdr. Colour contrasts look good too. Just worried about warranty claims.

Ya u got 2 call them. Warranty usually 1 yr in general, but some parts are only 3 mths like the screen etc. U try ask them in detail which part 3 mths which part 1 year. Hope u can share the finding here.

I also wonder how come they can sell lower than official price in China since they got 2 bear the song cost etc. Our maybe this model not selling up to their expectation due to stiff competitions
