Once statement kicks in, you will see RM2 remaining minus with the auto billing RM2.

As you heard they mention need final management approval, you can't do anything even through you push them.

Just take an easy way.. If you receive an sms been approve on Sept, then it is up to you willing to pay SST or not.
If you OK for it, then just pay for SST.. If don't want, then need to call them not need send the card to your doorstep.

Good thing, banks will not simply issue pre-approved credit cards, especially CIMB.

I just called PBB CS and was informed SST for each card can be waived if we meet a minimum spend of RM4000 per year per card.

I too tried to give this number a call, and it said it has been approved 

But the problem is i just applied the card on 27th August 2018 night, and supporting documents submitted yesterday. Could it be that fast?? 

Maybe they rushing applications now haha, mine was under processing last week when I called. Weekend I called to CS they said to expedite, today I called up said approved. Will call again to CS to confirm.

I applied PBB visa signature + the 2 Quantum cards since 10th Aug till now still no news yet. If approved, i sure kena SST b4 i take it back thru their CB.

Credit Card Service Tax
With effect from 1 September 2018, there will be service tax imposed on credit card as follows:

A) RM25 per annum on the Principal Card; and
B) RM25 per annum on each Supplementary Card

The service tax will be collected on the date the card is activated, on the completion of each year
or on the date of renewal of the card. This means that the above mentioned service tax shall be
levied on new credit card issued effective from 1 September 2018. For existing credit cards issued
before 1 September 2018, the service tax shall be levied upon anniversary of card issuance.

from the statement it clearly says date of activation instead of date of approval.

I'm not sure whether Touch n Go is entitled for online rebate or not, as I overspent that month.
Based on the statement, I believe reload TNG using Quantum MC can get CB.

it depends on the bank but for PBB, they posted the SST on the statement date, not shown in August but maybe Aug/Sep is an one off situation, they might reflect the same as other bank to shown the SST charged on the anniversary date rather than on the last day of statement date after Sep.

I just called pb CS. If your card written 08/xx. My card billed with the SST RM25.
Anniversary date will fall on any date on Sept, They don't  follow month. I think MBB doesn't charge me SST  for 08/xx card.

Ok, it's a system generated thing from installments that i have right now (11street + Balance transfer)

Which tie to the remaining amount.

Not sure why now appear, few days ago it still RM0.00

hlb didn't even charge me in the same Sep statement and clearly stated the annual fee on August and reversed but PBB but everything on the statement date...
