Last time while I was on TM, the service rep told me it's probably not a good idea to upgrade to 50Mbps cause i use copper wiring in condo building. Offer me a reduced price on 20Mbps instead. I change straight to TIME that offers fibre to home.
How will this turbo upgrade affect those using copper wires? This is in central PJ area mind you |

QUOTE(Weretiger1 @ Aug 8 2018, 10:55 AM) That is why called best effortNow they offer is turbo boost All not guarantee speed. Commercial one pay expensive because guarantee speed. Unfortunately your place too many sharing backbone. So, if all heavy traffic at particular time, then speed drop. |

Its the same thing the Unifi technicians told me. Copper wires he say max 30mbps but in reality its around 15mbps only. He told me if I can get consistently 10mbps is already considered very good. He said for copper lines, stability is more important than speed. How will this turbo upgrade affect those using copper wires? This is in central PJ area mind you |
