I asked Convergent distributor before the same thing but for USB flash drives. I have claimed warranty before from them before on a USB drive that was bought from an unknown seller in their database. But that USB drive has Convergent sticker on it. It cost RM15 for that claim service, and i got it back around 3 weeks. Not sure for memory. But
