Alternatively, you may cite Serial number and see if they can check in their system

What if the dealer or distributor closed shop, dont entertain or we dont even know which dealer or distributor if we bought it through third party, online or second hand?

Can we deal directly with kingston malaysia or other method.

To be honest, I dont even remember where I put the receipt.

Well, you can call Kingston to check which authorized dealer / distributor are available in your area.
Alternatively, PC rig shop like Idealtech charges some fees and can arrange RMA for you.

in case of team ram of mine, i check warranty status online via thier website.
later on i email/contact the rma dept and then rma dept will email to you rma form.
fill the form and print, sent the ram to the adress they given with the printed form.
For the ram that manufactured oversea, u have to sent it to oversea..fo mine, to china (team ram).
then wait for the rma process..it might take a month or more to settle..

*for my case, no need receipt of purchased..

Kingston should be Convergent Distribution in AMODA jalam Imbi
If you dont have receipt, they'll charge you like rm10 checking fee if im not mistaken.
I claimed a laptop ram from them once, laptop ram have lifetime warranty not sure your hyper x

You may contact AmbleAction also as it was the distributor for Kingston RAM too.

So for cases like we buy ram from Amazon, Ali Express or Ebay, we have to send them back to them? We cant claim from local Kingston?

u have to check with local distributor if they got it here..ask them if they can manage RMA it for you..

I asked Convergent distributor before the same thing but for USB flash drives. I have claimed warranty before from them before on a USB drive that was bought from an unknown seller in their database. But that USB drive has Convergent sticker on it. It cost RM15 for that claim service, and i got it back around 3 weeks.

Not sure for memory. But
