Yeah, I was looking at the C835 prices on shopee singapore, it is around RM6k for the 65" which is 2x the C635.

Anyway I just got back from senheng elite, really got poisoned by the sheer immersion of a 75" panel. I think I have decided to go for 75" and was looking at the Xiaomi Q1 75" QLED and VA panel with FALD. Too bad reviews mentioned it is using an older Android 10 OS and the UI can be a bit slow. No native 120Hz also. Cheapest RM4.6k from shopee. A bit hesitant because this model is like almost 2 years old already.

Update: the Xiaomi seems to be plagued by software issues (slow loading times when adjusting settings, stuttering, old android OS)

Was checking the specs of the C835 vs C635 and quite good stuff:

+ mini LED backlighting with proper FALD
+ higher peak brightness
+ proper 120Hz with VRR
+ 4x HDMI 2.1 ports

But the C835 costing like RM6k in shopee SG, im estimating it will be 25% cheaper here as the Msian C635 cost RM3k vs RM4k in Singapore (comparing shopee mall price).

So it the C835 might cost RM4,500 and with vouchers and promo it may drop to RM4,000 possibly...then it will be very tempting.

So my sharp 65inch TV just died (purple splash area on the entire right edge side).

I'm currently shopping around see what's good. Honestly, never heard of TCL before and saw some recommendations on c635. Another consideration of mine was the hisense 70A6500g 70 inch.

I'm wondering how does TCL C635 fares against other models or if it's a recommended model?

I read that newer models might be coming to Malaysia. Should I wait?

It was a pretty old Sharp Aquos 65" TV, I can't remember the exact model, I got it pre-covid about RM2.8k

If my info is correct, no need to wait till year end. Look up for super brand day on 28/09, 75C845 will be available for pre-order @ RM 9,999 (previously quoted RM 8,699) with RM 500 worth of Gift throw in that that day.

In view of the latest development of the event, C845 no longer appear to be attractive any more for me.  If Hisense U7K perform close to their previous flagship model U8H, probably worth consideration.

C755? apa tu. seems like c805 will not make it in malaysia. damn, 50inch and below only can get oled for now.

So C755 and C805 is the same thing? Different name in different region?

Got info from shopee with some details..... hopefully the preorder comes with good price and fast shipment...

C845 if it is king slayer kind of tv, the price undercut oled by half price. Not too bad. But dunno y no bring in 55inch zzz.. c755 55inch if 4099 ok la.. mini led sure will more exp than previous gen c735 which don have any local dimming. Same like hisense u7k 55inch miniled price around 6k.

How can be delay almost a year ?
