I'd only go for another TCL tv once they improve on the software experience, I'm talking about navigating through the TV OS and apps, typing and browsing the youtube app which is really sluggish on my 65C635

This is the turn off man. I tried to scroll thru the Google TV interface, can notice the sluggishness.

Even my now broken Sharp 4TC60DK1X performs way better in terms of software experience. Tested Skyworth TV interface as well and no way sluggish like the ones on TCL

Right now im contemplating between TC 65C645 and Haier h65s900ux

Haier looks good in terms of brightness even when the TV was facing an open door during noon. Color still pops and less reflections. But i cant find any review on this TV model anywhere on Google.

The other aspects to consider is the virtually non existence of online OTA updates like the way you update your phone firmware

I do update only with OTA firmware provided by one of the forumer in this thread but this is still a manual task using USB thumb drive. I'm sure 99% of buyers won't know how to do it.

Yes Stasio has been providing firmware file in IMG or OTA format but both still need manual update via USB thumb drive. No online updates as far as I know for my C725

The US models are always different from Asia/Europe Models for all Chinese brands.
The C845 boasts the older Pentonic processor, hence resulted in banding issues, blooming and lifted black bars.

I have decided to go for this model as primarily based on my budget and quality it has to offer for the value for money. C845 is more expensive though and c755 a toned down version of it with better image processing capabilities due to its newer processor on board. If you can thrown bit money you can get x90L too from Sony. But C755 is the best bang for your buck!

c645 is more like a better basic 60hz TV, c755 is mini-led with 120hz above, hdmi 2.1 also. huge jump in terms of technology.

Depend of production date, C845 is supose to have Pentonic also (or they selling "old" stock first).
