Usually 2-3 models a year.
But buy too early and you'll lose out the resale value after a few months. |

For Iphone and Samsung usually they'll have a certain months to release certain upgraded models. Just have to google it. For the rest, anytime they like i guess...

I only follow Samsung, Apple and Google so I can't fill you in on others.
Jan/Feb - Galaxy S announcement March or April - Available on Malaysia Market August - Galaxy Note announcement September - Available on Malaysia Market September - Iphone Announcement October - Available on Malaysia Market. (Iphone X was available around November iirc) *October - Pixel 2 / Pixel 2 XL announcement *Google is a special case where you buy phone online through certain channels. |
