Good to know another Malaysian on that forum

i'm thinking of retiring my oneplus one for a mi a2. i was waiting for more SOT reports to come in before buying. your SOT gave me much hope!

One thing to note about my SOT, I don't play games ..
Use my device just for calls, whatsapp, browsing & some social media.

please try:
1. settings>connected devices>printing>OFF
2. disable auto rotation
3. settings>security&location>location set to battery saving
4. settings>security&location> scanning>bluetooth disabled

Everything bout this phone is good except the battery size. Plan to run with dual sim but not sure how the battery will hold up.

Very satisfied with the camera, haven't done much test with low light pic tho

my oneplus one has got a 3100mAh battery, just 100mAh more. in the beginning in 2014 i was getting 7-8hrs SOT, year by year it drops till now 2018 its about 3-4hrs SOT. i'm sure it will be similar.
if you want to show full SOT, you must not charge 3 times like your graph shows. just charge once and let it run.


got but :
1. must flash custom rom & kenot use any Gapps, so no point
2. must root to run kernel adiutor mod
3. stop using chrome, use opera browser
4. stock keyboard might be better than Gboard for battery life

Mi a2 vs honor play, what do u guys think?

The reasons I bought miA2 are stock Android and no notch, otherwise honor play would be a better buy I think.

Battery should be ok. Another screen shots. This one after 2 hours of WiFi hotspot with 4G.
